About the Artist
Trevor Barnett is a painter, illustrator, writer, and a graduate of SCAD with a BFA in illustration. Trevor specializes in creature design, portraits, environments, and cartoon illustrations. As a kid, Trevor grew up in the small town of Glencoe, Al; where he attended "Glencoe High School" and played football. Other than sports and outdoor activities, Glencoe was pretty much the stereotypical small town with nothing to do. So, Trevor watched lots of cartoons growing up, especially "Cartoon Network". Trevor also read a lot of books an watched a lot of horror movies, in his adolescent years. These are some of the influences, which have molded his artistic style. Trevor's biggest influence is his mother, she is also an artist. Trevor was always fascinated as a kid watching his mother paint.
